Another benefit of solar outdoor lighting is that it is safer for a family with young children. There are no wires or cable for the kids to trip on or tamper with. The same could be said for people that have pets who might chew electricity wires.

Depending on the type of solar lighting you are using (and the sun) you will find that they are extremely reliable compared to electric lights that might be subject to a power outage due to bad weather or other natural weather conditions. You should have no such problem with your solar lights as they will store power, in many cases, that will be sufficient for then to work 24 hours non-stop.
